Meet Entries: Your computer entries should be given to our computer rep by 8:00 PM the night before the

meet. Please send your entries to Cindy Anderson at cndy800@hotmail.com. Please bring your team computer

to the meet, if possible, or at the very least, bring a backup disk of entries to the meet.

Pool Specifics:

● Our pool is measured in “Yeters” and has 6 lanes.

● This means that swimmers CAN DIVE IN THE START END, BUT BREAST (2ND

Starter: Our starter is on the RIGHT side of the pool, so your swimmers who are not dive block certified will

need an “X” for in-water starts or an “O” for side starts marked on their RIGHT shoulders. Please bring your

starter mechanism charged and ready to go in case of an emergency.

Clerk of the Course: The Clerk of the Course is located just past the starting blocks next to the diving area.

Swimmer Exemptions: Our team has no special needs swimmers or coach exemptions. Please let us know if

you have any special needs swimmers or coach exemptions.

Parking: We have a big parking lot, but if it does become filled, you should let your families know that they

can park on Raintree Drive. Traditionally, people park on the same side of Raintree Drive as the club and start

parking “up the hill”. There are townhouses/condos that are adjacent to Raintree, and people SHOULD NOT

park in their lot; they will be ticketed. We will have spaces reserved for coaches near the front of the club.

Seating: Your team will have the seating on the pool deck that is adjacent to the diving well and lane 6. We

will provide a couple of rows of chairs, but your families will need to bring chairs. In addition, there is a big

grassy area next to your pool deck seating called “Luke’s Lawn”. That is also saved for your team, and you will

need chairs for that area too. Please inform your swimmers and parents that the diving well, shallow end, and

baby pool are off limits during the swim meet.

Concessions: We have a grill that will be offering the following menu: hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dog

nuggets, homemade chips, drinks, candy, and other snacks. Complimentary meal passes will be provided for

your coaches. Please let us know how many you need.

Weather: Per GRAL guidelines, if lightning is sighted or thunder is heard, all participants must clear the pool

deck. You may wait in your car until the meet is restarted. Only Parent Reps, Meet Directors, Coaches and Pool

Management can stay in the computer room, which is located upstairs in the social room and on the overlook

to the pool, to make a decision about the continuation of the meet.
